All our programs are instructed by certified Paddle Canada & Outdoor Council of Canada Instructors. Whether you are looking to lead a group, work as a guide or are simply looking to increase your skills and knowledge for your own adventures, our skilled and knowledgeable instructors will set you up for success on the trail or on the water.
Youth will learn the basic SUP paddle skills & safety awareness required to get moving effectively on the water.

Introduces the youth hiker to self management in the outdoors, leave no trace and safety awareness.
Morning session will consist of basic SUP Skills and afternoon session with focus on hiking skills.
Session 4 hours
This Stand Up Paddleboard basic skills clinic is defined for those who have never tried paddleboarding before and are looking to get the skills and confidence to get moving safely and effectively on the water.
Introduces the novice to paddling a paddleboard in calm sheltered waters. Successful participants will receive the Paddle Canada Basic SUP Skills Award.
Builds on the skills and knowledge gained in the Basic SUP Skills course. The participant is introduced to paddling in more challenging conditions and move to advanced paddle skills. Successful participants will receive the Advanced Skills Award.
This course offers a systematic approach to planning and managing a hiking activity for one day. Graduates of the Field Leader Hiking Course are qualified to lead one day trips into class 1 hiking terrain. (16 hours)
This course offers a systematic approach to planning and managing a paddling and/or a hiking activity for one day. Prior to taking this course it is recommended that students obtain a technical paddling certification from another organization. Graduates of the Field Leader Paddling + Hiking course are qualified to lead one day trips into class 1 paddling and class 1 hiking terrain. (20 hours)
This course is an extension of the other Field Leader courses. This module will review and deepen the event cycle and offers effective group management techniques for cold environments. Field Leader Hiking is a prerequisite. Graduates of the Field Leader Winter module are qualified to lead one day trips in low risk winter environments. (8 hours)
